For many of us who have struggled with our
weight, it’s
common to think we are broken, messed up or just plain wrong. When
we believe
these unsupportive ideas we get trapped into looking to experts
and
professionals to find the answers we need. This can turn into a
never-ending
quest to find out how you can make the changes you want. It’s
important to be
discerning of the experts you turn to and always allow yourself to
feel whether
their information seems supportive of you and your goals or not.
Just because
someone has a professional title does not guarantee they will be
able to help
you.
Gina and I know that the most valuable
information available
to you is within you. The only way we were able to shed our excess weight
was by
learning how to go inside of ourselves and find answers there. We
teach women
how to go inside and access valuable information within themselves
that they
can use to create powerful change.
For example: Being able to find your true
desire behind
wanting to shed excess weight is a powerful fuel to harness while
slimming. This inner fuel
of desire enables people to
pursue their goals with commitment and sustained vigor. We also
teach women how
to tune into their body to know what, when and how much they can
eat to slim
1kg every week without dieting. It’s also important to live true
to who you are;
authenticity provides us with a profound level of vitality, a
sense of ease and
energy. Once we have slipped into our natural space of
authenticity, you’ll
find yourself eating less. When we aren’t living true to who we
are we can fall
into the trap of mistakenly using food to energise ourselves.
We have learnt to trust ourselves and strive to
live
authentically. We encourage you whole heartedly to deepen into:
Trusting yourself to know what you truly want
to eat (give
yourself permission to enjoy all foods)
Trusting your bodily cues (feelings of hunger
and satisfaction)
to know when to eat and when you’ve had the right amount of food
Trust yourself to follow through on your
intuitive
promptings
Trust yourself to speak your honest opinions
and views
Trust yourself to back yourself up, to support
yourself no
matter what
